ALL NEW!! - Canoe Designs



I have never been that interested in canoes for DIY building but after many requests from people and the charity we work with, I have finally done something about it. Afterall, this is a very cheap and easy way to get on the water and have some fun. I have enjoyed designing them, building them and paddling one or two.
A canoe will fit on the roof rack of most cars, is easily carried to and from the water, performs well on the water and is a healthy activity (but remember to be safe. Wear the correct buoyancy aid).
We are going to have a few designs on offer and they will all be ready by Easter but, for now, only one design is available.

Our full design range has been dictated by asking most of those who expressed an interest what they wanted. There will be mostly different types of open canoes with one kayak design. They are mostly for easy Stitch & Tape building but there will be one in clinker ply style.
A basic 12' open canoe takes around 25hrs to build from scratch and can be built in a couple of long weekends.

The Peasemarsh Canoe is the first design to be offered and is available now.
